My journey into aesthetics began when I was little. My mom had a beauty salon and I spent most of my childhood surrounded in the beauty industry. My first job was as a receptionist at a medical spa. I got to experience how much the aesthetic world has evolved and how it has become more acceptable in society. In 2012, I became a laser hair removal technician and workd part-time at LazerIt Med Spa alongside my mother. I then graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) as a registered nurse from Texas A&M International University. In 2014, I started working as a Telemetry/Medical-Surgical Nurse and transitioned into the Intensive Care Unit. In the years that followed I completed my doctorate degree at the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah. I graduated as a Family Nurse Practioner with a degree of Doctor of Nursing Practice. I continued to receive several certifications on injectables and expanded Honey to the wonderful staff we have today. It has been a rewarding journey to instill confidence to so many alongside my wonderful team.
